The material selection is critical. Search for panel fabrics composed of one of the following fibers
- Polyester is the dominate choice because of availability, width selection, stability, acoustical transparency, fire safety
- Polyolefin is used in areas to withstand abuse and heavy cleaning
Avoid fabrics composed of cotton, silk, wool, linen and nylon as they tend to be unstable with changes in temperature and humidity
